The Cinnamon Hummingbird (Amazilia rutila) is one of the many hummingbirds found in the area.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, lowland forests, dry scrubland, and heavily degraded former forest. Its a medium-sized hummingbird, the species measures about 10cm and weighs around 5g. The upper parts are metallic bronze green while the underparts cinnamon, paler on the chin and upper throat, the wings are dark and the bill is red with a black tip.
